Roll Models
Roll Models is dedicated to developing and maintaining Tabletop RPG groups and clubs for both kids and adults in the greater Middle Tennessee area. We believe that gaming is more than building characters; it builds character.
We consist of skilled professionals who specialize in running Tabletop RPGs, creating and organizing groups, and teaching those new to the hobby how to play. We are experienced in running many different RPG systems including D&D, Star Wars: Edge of the Empire, Fantasy Age, Kids on Bikes, Tales from the Loop, and Ten Candles just to name a few. So whether its running a game for you, managing a gaming club, or teaching you how to play, we’re ready to roll some dice.
Who we Are

Danielle
Danielle is a an educator teaching middle school social studies and science. Danielle has been playing tabletop RPGs since 2008, starting with D&D 4th edition. She is currently playing in two D&D campaigns and GMing a Call of Cthulhu game. Danielle has presented panels on incorporating role-playing games into education at multiple teaching conferences and gaming conventions across the country, including The Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), Star Wars Celebration, and Gen Con. She has moderated professional RPG Twitch streams and has run RPG after-school clubs and summer camps for over a decade. Her favorite RPG to play is Call of Cthulhu and her favorite game to run is 10 Candles. Her favorite build is a Tiefling Bloodhunter. But those who know Danielle, know that she is a certified dice goblin, and currently owns over 450 dice and counting.

Joseph
Joseph has run role-playing games since he was roughly eleven years old, playing in his family’s bonus room, often nonstop for entire weekends. (Isn’t that the dream?!) He has helped others learn to play the games across a multitude of gaming systems, has conducted RPG after-school clubs and summer camps, and has run games for all ages. He currently manages a RPG after-school clubs in and outside two different schools everyday of the week. Joseph also conducts two ongoing games for adults on a monthly basis from his home that have been continuing for over two years. He built his own gaming table from scratch with the help of his wife. Joseph’s favorite roleplaying game to play is Star Wars: Edge of the Empire, and his favorite game to run is D&D. Introducing new people to the hobby is his passion. He collects, prints, builds, and paints miniatures, terrain, and in-game handouts and props to enhance the player to character immersion for all the games he runs.

Mason
Mason has been teaching ELA for the past decade, both in the US and abroad. He has only been playing tabletop RPGs since 2023, but has over twenty years of experience playing trading card games like Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and Digimon, and a background in improvised live-action role playing. Mason has run an after-school club teaching students how to play Magic the Gathering for the past two years, as well as helping to create and facilitate a Live Action Role-Play summer camp at his school. He is invested in creating a classroom management system based on role-play elements that other teachers can utilize. Mason is currently engaged in two D&D campaigns, being a resident chaos goblin in one and the stoic voice of reason in the other, allowing him to play both sides of personality at will. D&D is Mason’s favorite game to play and Magic the Gathering his favorite to facilitate.
